What is your current position at Transmit Start-Ups? Tell us a little about your role and what it entails.
My current position is Applications Assistant. I process everyone’s application form onto our system and through the relevant checks, answer applicants queries through email and telephone and make the process as smooth as possible.
What does a typical day at Transmit Start-Ups look like for you?
A typical day at Transmit Start-Ups for my team is to register any new applicants, performing our eligibility checks and making sure we have responded to every applicant that contacts us.
What is your background prior to joining Transmit Start-Ups and what made you decide to join the company?
I was an Administrator for a well know charity that helped with a variety of problems affecting people such as debt, benefits, housing etc. I joined Transmit Start-Ups because they were willing to help me progress in my profession and they care about their applicants, they are always willing to go the extra mile.
What do you like to do away from the office to relax, do you have any hobbies or other interests?
My hobbies and interests are dog walking, fish keeping, gaming and reading.
What is it about working with start-ups that you like?
I like the atmosphere of the office, the challenges that everyday brings and helping clients in any way I can.
If you could give one tip to a Start Up Loan applicant what would it be?
Have your paperwork ready as the faster we get them, the faster we can process your application.
